Terms & Conditions

ALL BOOKINGS THAT ARE MADE WITH BOND VIVEUR ARE MADE UPON AND SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

INTERPRETATION
The following Terms and Conditions are legally binding, BOND VIVEUR means the legally registered business under the name of Rory Mark Bond - BOND VIVEUR - A FOOD EXPERIENCE. 'The Client' means the individual, company or any other party acting upon and responsible for making or confirming the booking. By confirming a booking with BOND VIVEUR, you are formally agreeing to the Terms and Conditions laid at as follows:

  • DEPOSITS / PAYMENT TERMS
    All bookings require a deposit in order to secure the Booking date. Deposits must be paid within 7 days of the date the Booking Confirmation / Proforma Invoice was issued. Your booking for the date/s and services requested, will only be considered confirmed once the deposit has been received. If the deposit has not been received by the due date, then the date/s will be re-released so other business opportuntiies are not compromised. You will be advised of the deposit amount required when your Booking Confirmation is issued and details of how the remaining payment / costs are to made. In the event that you have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances beyond your control, the deposit will be returned or moved to an alternative booking date, dependent upon the circumstances. Proof of Reason of cancellation may be requested in order for your deposit to be returned.

    Payments can be made by Bank Transfer, Debit / Credit Card or Cash. (NOTE: Cash payments may not exceed more €500.00 as stipulated by Greek Law).

    The deposit amount and payment method will will be advised when the Booking Confirmation / Proforma invoice is issued. Details regarding balancing payment/s will be advised depending upon the booking. As a guideline the deposit is generally 25% of the net amount, a further 25% payment due no less than 30 days prior to the booking start date and the balancing payment due no later than 14 days of the booking start date.

    Bookings made 14 days or less than the commencement date of the booking, will be required to pay the amount immediately in full upon receipt of the Booking Confirmation.

    NOTE: Event and Residential Bookings (ie. Residential Bookings = exceed 3 consecutive days or more) a minimum deposit of €500.00 will be required to secure the requested date/s.

    Grocery Concierge Villa Provisioning Experience:
    Full payment must be made no less than 7 days prior to the day of delivery. Orders placed 72 hours or less before your arrival must be paid for immediately, via Bank Transfer, as per the payment method advised upon ordering.

  • CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
    In the event of a cancellation by The Client, the following cancellation policy will apply:

    30 days or more of the booking start = 0% cancellation fee.
    BOND VIVEUR will refund any amounts paid by The Client, provided no expenses have been incurred by BOND VIVEUR as a result of any agreements made with third parties or preparation work. Any such expenses will be deducted from the amount paid by The Client.

    29 days or less of the booking start date = 50% of the net invoice amount.
    If the amount paid is 50% or less of the Net Invoice, BOND VIVEUR will retain the full amount paid by The Client and invoice The Client for any shortfall should the amount paid in advance be less than 50%.
    If the full amount has been paid, 50% will be refunded, provided no expenses have been incurred by BOND VIVEUR as a result of any agreements made with third parties or preparation work. Any such expenses will also be deducted from the amount paid by The Client.

    14 days or less of the booking start date = 100% cancellation fee.
    If the amount paid is 50% or less of the Net Invoice, BOND VIVEUR will retain the full amount paid by The Client and The Client will also become liable for any remaining balancing oputstanding up to the value of 100% of the Net Invoice amount.
    If the full amount has been paid, BOND VIVEUR retains the right to retain 100% of the amount paid, unless a genuine Proof of Reason can be provided to support the cancellation.


    IMPORTANT: Should the Chef or any associated supplier connected with the booking arrive at your property and no access be available then the booking will be considered cancelled. A maximum of 30 minutes waiting time will be given. You will be responsible for all costs incurred both by BOND VIVEUR and any associated suppliers, third parties.

Grocery Concierge Villa Provisioning Experience:
Cancellations made…
30 days or more of the scheduled delivery date booked = 0% cancellation fee
29 days or less of the scheduled delivery date = 50% of the Delivery Fee. If you have paid in full then you will be refunded minus the 50% plus any bank or additional third party charges incurred.
72 hours or less, prior to the scheduled delivery date booked =100% of the Delivery Fee and the total order cost as other business opportunities are likely to have been compromised, products purchased, plus any bank or third party charges incurred.

MENUS

All the details of the food and any beverages that are being served, will be detailed on a separate menu. BOND VIVEUR or any of of its associated suppliers, reserves the right to provide an alternative food or drink of a similar quality, should the original either be unavailable or not of sufficient BOND VIVEUR quality at the time of the booking.

NUMBERS

Prices quoted and confirmed are based on the number of guests provided by The Client. The number of guests that are being catered for or attending an event must be confirmed by The Client prior. If the number of guests is greater, BOND VIVEUR reserves the right to charge The Client the difference in the additional cost.

CLAIMS

Personal Chef Experience / Cookery Class Experience / Special Occasions | Events:
BOND VIVEUR operates a strict hygiene policy and has undertaken the food handling training and medical requirements for any person involved in the handling, preparation and cooking of food. Should you have reason to believe that an illness is a direct result of food delivered, prepared and/or served by BOND VIVEUR then the following procedures must be carried out:

a) Notify BOND VIVEUR within 24 hours of the symptoms occurring.
b) Visit a local GP / Gastroenterologist for an official examination of which the report and analysis must be presented.

Any claim which is made and found to be false or not officially verified will be subject to the appropriate legal action.

Grocery Concierge:
Any risks associated with any goods supplied by BOND VIVEUR will become the responsibility of the client upon delivery receipt of the goods. Broken, damaged or goods regarded as unacceptable for consumption must be reported immediately. Claims made after 12 hours will not be accepted. A replacement will be provided where possible or refunded. Any item regarded as unsuitable for consumption must be retained for inspection by BOND VIVEUR before any replacement or refund is made.

DELIVERING / RECEIVING YOUR ORDER

Grocery orders will be delivered to your accommodation prior to your *arrival (*wherever possible) and put away. BOND VIVEUR cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivery caused by issues beyond our control. Orders will not be delivered if payment has not been received, unless alternative arrangements have been made and agreed upon in advance. All orders incur an additional delivery charge in addition to the cost of the goods and is based on the distance and time required to make the delivery. Full details of your accommodation / place of delivery must be provided in full when placing your order. BOND VIVEUR cannot be held responsible for failure of delivery due to incorrect delivery information being provided (ie. Accommodation name, location, date / arrival time). The cost of the goods and travel will not be refunded if delivery is not possible.

Please notify us immediately should there be any items missing from your delivery. Missing goods will either be replaced or refunded.

FORCE MAJEUR

If BOND VIVEUR is unable to provide, under it's obligations, for any reason beyond it's control, but not limited to strike, labour dispute, accident, act of war, act of God, fire, flood or any other emergency situation, BOND VIVEUR reserves the right to terminate any agreement without liability of any nature and will return any deposit or monies paid. BOND VIVEUR will and cannot be held accountable for any arising consequential damages of any nature or any reason.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

BOND VIVEUR will not disclose any personal information relating to the client to any other individual or company. All information regarding the client, order / booking will remain confidential and will not be used for any third party marketing activity or other purposes.
BOND VIVEUR may occasionally contact previous clients with details regarding special promotions, new service / product launches / season start dates. Any information collected in order to process payments is not retained in any form. Financial transactions in most circumstances are made / carried out using the highly secure and simple payment system recommended by BOND VIVEUR, which does not divulge any of your data.

RETURNS

The Client may not return or refuse Goods due to 'Change of Mind'. Goods may only be returned if deemed as faulty or not suitable for consumption and have subsequently been inspected by BOND VIVEUR. A replacement of the same item will be made or similar if the original item is unavailable or refunded in full.
